There is a reason solar energy has become a trending topic when talking about energy sources & renewables. While solar energy was inefficient a decade back, it has now proved to be extremely beneficial for the environment and also financially. Additionally, due to the higher demand, the technology has been improving considerably, turning into a significantly efficient source of clean energy.

Moreover, the government has been promoting various schemes to build solar plants in rural areas, canal top projects and solar panels on water bodies. Eastern Powers has been involved in such projects and has an MOU with the government of Gujarat for developing a 1000MW Canal top project for Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited(SSNNL). Eastern Powers has also signed an MOU with the government of Chattisgarh for development of Solar park and is in the process of acquiring land and grid connectivity for the project.
